How to find the school using Google maps on this page

1. Write in the “from” field, the point from which you will start the journey.
2. Write in the “to” field your destination (in this case, Malaca Instituto: remember we have two addresses "street Rodeo, 5" or "street Cortada, 6". We recommend you use "street Rodeo, 5")

3. Select your preferred language.

4. Click on "Get Directions!" to get the detailed instructions.

Now, below on the right, you will a map indicating the route you should take. On the left you will find the exact details of all the turns you will have to make.

If you want more information about a particular junction you can click on the appropriate reference number highlighted in blue. A small window opens in which you can see a map giving more information. This can be enlarged and you can also change the format in which it can be viewed (map, satelite etc).

By default we have chosen the route from the airport to Malaca Instituto. You can change this according to your preferences.

If you change the default journey instructions don’t forget to click on “Get Directions!” to get the new details.

From Malaga International Airport (AGP)

  • Request a transfer: the cost of a 2-way transfer currently costs € 80. A driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals lounge. The transfer to Club Hispánico takes approximately 20 minutes, to a host family or student apartment a little longer. (Airport Transfers)
  • Take a taxi: Outside the arrivals hall you will find a taxi rank. If you are accommodated in the school residence (Club Hispánico) or in a shared student apartment (you need to pick up the keys in the Club Hispánico), you should ask the driver for “Club Hispánico en el Cerrado de Calderon”. Otherwise you should have the host family or other address clearly written out to give to the taxi driver. The driver should ask whether you prefer to go “por autovia” (on the motorway) or “por el centro” (via the town centre). The former is usually faster (20 minutes) but a little more expensive: € 28-35 according to time and day. Going via the town centre takes on average 5-10 minutes longer and costs € 26-30.
  • Take the airport train: this takes you to the central railway station. The journey time is first 6:50 h. last 23:50 h. and the frequency of the trains is 30 minutes From the main railway station in town we strongly recommend you take a taxi. The train currently costs € 1.35 and the taxi from the train station will cost € 8-10.
  • Take the airport bus: this takes you to the town centre. The journey time is first 7:00 h. last 24:00 h. and the frequency of the bus is 30 minutes From the town centre we recommend you take a taxi (50 metres from the airport bus stop). The airport bus currently costs € 1.10 and the taxi from the town centre will cost € 7-9.
