Malaca Instituto with its mini-campus environment is especially suitable for this age group (Malaca Instituto for 50s +)

This programme is designed especially for retired people or those generally around 50 years +,who now have the time to enjoy travelling, getting to know people from all over the world and learning new things – languages, traditions, customs, cultures etc.

This course combines language learning with social and cultural activities designed to help you to get to know the customs and traditions of Malaga and Andalucia and your fellow course participants.

The programme is offered at 3 broad levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced and consists of 3 lessons per day plus the activities programme mentioned above. The duration is 2 or 4 weeks.

The teaching methodology of this course is very different to that of our other courses: the focus is on practical Spanish to enable the participants to use Spanish in the typical situations they will encounter in everyday life such as:

asking for directions
introducing themselves
ordering drinks or food in a restaurant
renting a car or booking a hotel room
buying food in the market

The activities are sometimes integrated with the lessons (eg. learning the language of food items and then visiting the market to buy food for a paella which they learn how to cook)
