A GAP YEAR

With Hispanic Studies

If you are thinking of taking a break from your studies or work (gap year), this course may be of interest to you. It is a plan to improve your Spanish and discover or broaden your knowledge of Spanish culture. You can invest this time to complete your CV with interesting contents and at the same time develop your personal skills.

DIVIDED PROGRAMME

In two terms

Term 1:16 weeks (before January)
20 lessons/week intensive general Spanish course to reach the B2 level required to start term 2.

Term 2: 20 weeks (from January)
10 lessons/week of general Spanish at advanced level + 10 lessons/week of Spanish culture (aspects of Spanish cinema, history, politics, literature, geography, current affairs in Spain), or preparation for the DELE B2 exam.

TERM 2

Modules

Phase 2 is divided into 5 modules of 4 weeks each. You can take this phase as a whole, or register for any of the modules independently, if you have the required level of Spanish.
You can do the whole programme, Term 1 and 2, starting as a beginner in August and studying for 36 weeks. If you already have level B2 you can go straight into Term 2.
